In the spring of 1986, the life of 34-year-old Daniel L. McDaniel, a Caucasian male, was tragically cut short in Portland, Oregon. On the afternoon of May 28th, a passing motorist driving in the 600 block of NW 14th Avenue noticed a person lying on the sidewalk. Alarmed by the sight of blood near the body, the driver quickly sought help from a nearby business, which then called 911.
