On July 19, 1997, the body of 39-year-old Lois Marilee Luttrell was discovered in Portland's NE Everett area. She had been stabbed multiple times. Luttrell, who had worked in the shipyards before suffering an injury, had recently lived a high-risk lifestyle involving alcohol and drugs.
