Who killed 25 year old Cassie Stevens in 1998?
On July 14, 1998, the body of 35-year-old Cassie Stevens was discovered in Powers Marine Park, Portland. A passerby searching for recyclables found her body after following a trail of blood. An autopsy revealed she had been fatally shot. Originally from Seattle, Stevens had recently arrived in Portland’s Old Town, where she struggled with drug addiction.
