On October 8, 2007, Kip Sylvester, aged 56, was found dead in his Oklahoma City apartment after being shot by his wife, Exondia Jaye Salado. Sylvester and his wife had a tumultuous relationship, and on the night of the incident, an argument escalated into violence. Exondia shot Kip Sylvester after he returned home late that evening. She was later arrested and charged with his murder.
