On June 25, 2008, 29-year-old Isacc Palomino was fatally shot in Oklahoma City. The case remained unresolved for some time, but in 2010, Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies arrested a suspect, Dante Joseph Lejuan, in connection with Palomino's murder. Lejuan was taken into custody after a standoff with law enforcement at a residence in northwest Oklahoma City. The arrest provided a significant breakthrough in the case after nearly two years of investigation.
