On July 31, 2008, 25-year-old Venasa Swaissi was found shot to death in Oklahoma City. The incident occurred near NW 63rd Street and Broadway Extension, where Swaissi was driving a white Cadillac Eldorado and had stopped at a Shell filling station. According to reports, she was giving two men, Nicco Barnett and Laverie Franklin, a ride from the gas station when they attempted to rob her, leading to the fatal shooting.
