On April 20, 2013, the body of 22-year-old Karen De Leon was discovered near Lake Overholser in Oklahoma City by volunteers picking up trash. De Leon had been reported missing by her mother two weeks earlier on April 6. The cause of her death was initially unclear, but police later classified it as a homicide. Despite this, there were no immediate suspects, and the investigation into her death remains ongoing. Authorities continue to seek information to resolve the case.
