On June 22, 2014, 37-year-old Jose Monzon was tragically killed in a stabbing incident outside a nightclub in East Tulsa, Oklahoma. The violent altercation occurred during a large brawl between rival gang members that spilled into the parking lot of Club Imperial. Monzon, who was the father of one of the gang members involved, was fatally stabbed in the chest. Emergency responders attempted to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
