Alejandro Sebastian "Alex" Benitez, aged 23, was murdered on July 7, 2016, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was returning home from work when he was confronted by two unidentified individuals who attempted to rob him in front of the Putnam Green Apartments located at 7525 Knight Lake Drive. During the robbery, Benitez was shot, and he collapsed in the breezeway of the second floor of his apartment complex, where his body was later found by responding officers.
