On February 11, 1980, Deon Yancy, a 30-year-old female, was found dead in a vacant field located east of 1850 East 25th Street in Columbus, Ohio. Her death was classified as a homicide, though the specific cause of death was left undetermined after the initial investigation. The Columbus Police Department took the lead on this case, and it remains unsolved to this day.
