Darnell A Smith

On June 15, 2008, 20-year-old Darnell Smith was shot and killed in San Diego, California, while walking to his aunt's house in the Emerald Hills neighborhood. The incident occurred at approximately 12:20 a.m. after Smith parked his car in the 700 block of Pyramid Street. While walking with several relatives, an unknown suspect stepped out of a vehicle and fired multiple rounds at the group. Tragically, Smith was struck and died at the scene.
