Kathryn "Kathy" Menendez, a 17-year-old from Alliance, Ohio, was found dead on August 25, 1994, just a few days after she went missing on August 20. Her body was discovered in a rural area near the Berlin Reservoir, on an oil well road off of Fewtown Road in Portage County, Ohio. She was found unclothed, and authorities determined she had been strangled, stabbed, and bludgeoned to death.
