Joshua Cameron, an 18-year-old resident of San Francisco, was tragically killed on September 5, 2008. He and a companion were walking along the 1000 block of Fillmore Street when they were approached from behind by an unknown assailant. The suspect, described as an African American male with dreadlocks, slim build, wearing a black sweatshirt and baggy blue jeans, shot Cameron before fleeing northbound towards Golden Gate Avenue.
The San Francisco Police Department has offered a $25,000 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case. Investigators continue to seek public assistance to solve the case.
