Dustin Spaller, age 21, was found dead on December 4, 2001, in Painesville, Ohio. His body was discovered by a fisherman in Recreation Park, near the Grand River, in the early hours of the morning. Dustin had been fatally shot, and evidence indicated that there had been a violent struggle prior to his death.
