On July 22, 2003, David Downs Sr., a thirty-eight-year-old man, was fatally shot in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place on Interstate 70 Eastbound near Exit 103H in Franklin County. Downs was discovered with a gunshot wound, but despite the immediate involvement of law enforcement, no suspects have been apprehended, and the case remains unsolved.
