Jose Mejia-Diaz, a 20-year-old male, was tragically killed in a fire on September 12, 2004, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident took place at 600 Lynwood Lane in Franklin County. The fire broke out in an apartment complex, and residents were awakened by people yelling and pounding on the doors. Unfortunately, ten people lost their lives as a result of the blaze, which was later determined to be arson.
