On July 23, 2006, skeletal remains were found in a swampy area near Mosquito Lake State Park in Cortland, Ohio. These remains were later identified as belonging to Gregory L. Griffin, who was 47 years old at the time of his death. Gregory's body was found in a state that lacked clothing and skin tissue, though some of the small bones were still intact.
