Jerry Lee Greer, aged 71, was found shot to death in his Templeton, California home on March 28, 2009. He was discovered by family members, and his death was ruled a homicide. Greer, known in the community for his love of hunting and woodworking, was a well-liked mechanic in Paso Robles. Early in the investigation, Greer's son, Brian, was named as a person of interest.
