On May 2, 2009, Dwight Caldwell, age 25, was shot and killed in Long Beach, California. The incident took place in the early morning hours, with police responding to reports of a shooting. Upon their arrival, Caldwell was found with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a nearby hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
