On December 7, 2012, Shannon Bridges, a 33-year-old man from Akron, Ohio, was fatally shot in his driveway at 641 Bellevue Avenue. The Akron Police Department responded to the scene, but despite efforts to gather information, the case has remained unsolved. The Ohio Attorney General's Office, along with local law enforcement, has classified this incident as an unsolved homicide, urging the public to come forward with any information that might help solve the case.
