A man is found shot on a sidewalk On the night of March 21, 2015, 28-year-old Black male Derek Lamont Jones was fatally shot in North College Hill, Ohio. At approximately 11:16 p.m., Jones was found unresponsive on the sidewalk near the 6700 block of Savannah Avenue, close to "Good Brotha's" Bar. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds, including one to the back of the head. Emergency responders transported him to University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
