On October 21, 2009, 18-year-old Pablo Marquez was shot and killed in Long Beach, California. The incident occurred in the 1800 block of Henderson Avenue, where Marquez sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. Emergency responders pronounced him dead at the scene. Officers had arrived after receiving multiple calls reporting gunshots in the area at around 11:12 p.m.
