Death by Force

Eddie E. Lovely, age 30, was fatally shot on January 6, 2016, in Columbus, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 8:33 PM, when Columbus Police Department officers were called to the 2300 block of Marcia Drive after reports of a man lying on the sidewalk. Upon their arrival, officers found Lovely critically injured from a gunshot wound. Columbus Fire Department medics were called to the scene, but Lovely was pronounced dead at 8:44 PM.
