On the night of December 4, 2009, 16-year-old Antonio "Chato" Nunez Jr. was tragically shot and killed in front of his mother’s home in Oakland, California. Antonio and his younger brother had returned home from their father’s house after a day spent with their mother at church. As they sat in a truck outside the house, multiple gunmen emerged from a nearby van and opened fire without warning.
