A teen is found with a fatal gunshot wound
On January 11, 2017, Earnest Anderson III, aged 17, was fatally shot in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred in the afternoon at approximately 3:35 p.m. near the intersection of West Thornton Street and Laurel Avenue in Summit County. Anderson was pronounced dead on the same day. The Akron Police Department responded to the scene but no arrests have been made, and the case remains unsolved.
