Erick Bellomy, 44, was tragically killed on October 12, 2017, in Columbus, Ohio, during an attempted robbery that turned fatal. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning at his home on Higbee Drive South. The suspect in the case, Anthony Dean, who was related to Bellomy, allegedly attempted to rob him, which ultimately led to the shooting. When law enforcement arrived at the scene around 1:21 a.m., Bellomy was found with a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
