On July 12, 2018, Anthony Duane "Tony" Norman Jr., a 32-year-old Akron resident, was fatally shot while sitting in his vehicle at 963 Concord Avenue in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred late at night, around 11:35 p.m., as Anthony was in his car. Tragically, his death adds to the ongoing problem of gun violence affecting Akron and the surrounding community.
