On July 15, 2018, Ty-Ron Phelps, a 15-year-old resident of Akron, Ohio, was found shot to death near 464 Noah Avenue. The incident occurred at approximately 10:26 p.m., and despite ongoing investigations by the Akron Police Department, the case remains unsolved.
