A man is found fatally shot inside his vehicle
On March 31, 2019, 25-year-old Dierre Smith was found fatally shot inside his vehicle near 1035 Yale Street in Akron, Ohio. The incident occurred at approximately 10:03 p.m., and despite efforts from law enforcement, no suspects have been identified publicly to date. Dierre's death has been classified as a homicide, and the case remains unsolved. Summit County Crime Stoppers is offering a $5,000 reward for information that could lead to the arrest of those responsible.
