Lindsay Buziak was a 24-year-old woman and licensed real-estate agent working in the Victoria area when she was lured to a vacant home in Saanich, British Columbia, on February 2, 2008. Several days before the killing, she received an unexpected call from a woman claiming that she and her husband were relocating to the area and urgently wanted to purchase a home worth about $1 million.
