On July 15, 2012, 18-year-old Kevin Washington was fatally shot during a party in East Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred on Timbertop Lane, where Washington was attending a gathering with friends. He had recently graduated from high school and planned to study nursing at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Tragically, the party turned violent, leading to Washington being shot and killed, with two others also injured.
