On September 27, 2013, 23-year-old Terrell Jones was shot and killed in Charlotte, North Carolina. The incident occurred in the early morning hours at the South Oak Crossing Apartments on Bow Road. Residents of the apartment complex were jolted awake by the sound of gunshots. Witnesses reported seeing people running and heard someone shouting, “I got him!” before discovering Jones lying on the ground, covered in blood.
