On January 29, 2015, Andrew Dyles, a 25-year-old resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, was found with severe physical trauma in a wooded area near the 100 block of Wadsworth Place. Authorities responded to the scene around 5 p.m., where they discovered Dyles' critically injured body. He was transported to Carolinas Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries. This tragic incident marked the eighth homicide of the year in Charlotte at the time.
