In the early hours of Tuesday, May 19, 2026, the quiet of a neighborhood in the Home Gardens community of Riverside County was shattered by violence. Deputies from the Lake Mathews Sheriff's Station were dispatched to the 3000 block of Grant Street around 1:00 a.m. following a report of an unresponsive male.
