Her life was cut short on April 6, 2026, in a heart-wrenching event that unfolded within the walls of her own home. Lorelei was a cherished mother to two sons, Jarrott Strickland III and Jeremiah Strickland, and a doting grandmother to Kohen and Caroline, who were described as the light of her life.
The circumstances leading to the discovery of her passing began when she uncharacteristically failed to arrive for her job at a local business. Concerned for her well-being, a coworker requested that authorities perform a welfare check. Deputies from the Gulf County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to her last known address. Upon their arrival, they received no answer at the door and, seeing no immediate signs of foul play, they initially continued their search at other locations.
While deputies were gathering more information, concerned friends and family members managed to gain entry into the residence. It was then that the devastating discovery was made. Inside one of the bedrooms, they found Lorelei and her husband, Jarrott Strickland, both deceased. It was reported that they appeared to have been deceased for some time.
