In the early morning hours of Sunday, March 29, 2026, what should have been a night of celebration turned into a scene of tragedy in Blue Mountain, Mississippi. A gathering, reportedly an after-prom party, was shattered by gunfire, leaving two brothers dead. One of the victims was 27-year-old Jerrious Hunt of Michigan City, Mississippi. He, along with his 24-year-old brother, Jertavious Hunt, was fatally shot at a residence in the Blue Mountain area.
