In the quiet community of Pinehurst, North Carolina, the life of 43-year-old Jamar Brooks Hailey was tragically cut short on the evening of Sunday, March 29, 2026. Responding to reports of gunfire, Moore County Sheriff's deputies arrived at a residence on Gaines Street to discover a grim scene. Two men, Hailey and 41-year-old Antonio Jamal Brown of Raeford, were found in the yard, both having sustained fatal gunshot wounds.
