On August 11, 2009, 21-year-old Eric L. Morrow was shot and killed in a gang-related incident in Buffalo, New York. Morrow, who was associated with the 10th Street Gang, became a target during a confrontation between rival gangs. On that day, members of the 7th Street Gang, including Esteban Ramos-Cruz and Jordan Hidalgo, opened fire on Morrow at the corner of Auburn and West Avenue.
