In the early morning hours of February 12, 2026, a visit to a friend's home in northwest Harris County, Texas, turned fatal for 25-year-old Malcolm Wayne Lee. The events that transpired inside a recreational vehicle on a property off Hufsmith Kohrville Road stemmed from a volatile encounter with his former girlfriend.
Malcolm Wayne Lee, a young man of 25, had recently entered into a new relationship and, on that fateful night, was accompanied by his new girlfriend.
They arrived at a friend's RV for a visit, only to find that Lee's ex-girlfriend, Emily Rose Seeman, was already present. What began as a verbal argument between Lee and Seeman quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The confrontation reached a tragic climax when a single gunshot was fired, striking and fatally wounding Lee.
In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, Emily Rose Seeman fled the scene, disappearing into a nearby wooded area. Harris County Sheriff's Office deputies who responded to the 911 call found Lee unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Law enforcement, with the assistance of several other agencies, established a perimeter and conducted a thorough search of the woods. Their efforts led to the apprehension of Seeman a short time later. She was taken to a hospital for injuries she sustained during the physical altercation before being booked into the Harris County Jail. Emily Rose Seeman has since been charged with the murder of Malcolm Wayne Lee.
