In the late summer of 2023, an argument between two men who knew each other escalated into a fatal encounter on a Rochester street. On the evening of August 20, 2023, gunshots echoed in the vicinity of North Plymouth Avenue and Ambrose Street. When Rochester Police Officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Alec Rouse lying in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. He was rushed to Strong Memorial Hospital, but his injuries proved to be fatal.
