On the evening of December 29, 2025, in Warrenton, Missouri, a tragic event unfolded that resulted in the death of 42-year-old Yeisir Buster Concepcion. He and a companion, Elizabeth Hernandez-Sanchez, 33, also of Warrenton, were discovered with gunshot wounds near the intersection of South Stracks Church Road and State Highway M. The Warren County Sheriff's Department responded to a "man down" call around 8:35 p.m. and found both individuals, who were in a romantic relationship.
Despite life-saving efforts at the scene, both Concepcion and Hernandez-Sanchez succumbed to their injuries.
The investigation into the double homicide was quickly initiated, with the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis being called in to assist the Warren County Sheriff's Department. Investigators learned that the man suspected of shooting the couple had previously been in a romantic relationship with Hernandez-Sanchez. A description of a vehicle of interest was broadcast to surrounding law enforcement agencies.
In the early morning hours of December 30, at approximately 3 a.m., Warren County deputies located the suspect's vehicle at a truck stop in Foristell. As law enforcement attempted to make contact with the driver, he shot himself and died at the scene. The name of the shooter has not been publicly released. The investigation into the double murder and suicide is ongoing.
