In a tragic turn of events on a Saturday afternoon in Lake City, Florida, 27-year-old Black / African American female Tina Farmer was killed. On January 3, 2026, law enforcement responded to a 911 call about a shooting at approximately 4:07 p.m. on Southwest Journey Court. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Farmer deceased with a gunshot wound to her head.
