In a tragic turn of events in Bryan, Texas, 61-year-old Gerald Jerry Winn and his wife, 52-year-old Nancy Winn, were found shot in their home in the Steep Hollow community on Saturday, January 17, 2026. A distressing 911 call was made by Nancy Winn shortly after 5:00 p.m., reporting that she and her husband had been shot by her son, 32-year-old Ezekiel Barajas. During the call, she stated that Barajas did not reside with them and she was unaware of his motives for the shooting.
