In the early hours of Wednesday, December 3, 2025, the life of 26-year-old Angel Chitay Urzua was tragically cut short in a violent encounter in South Gate, California. A Latino male, Urzua was discovered in an alley in the 3700 block of Tweedy Boulevard, near South Carlos Avenue, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department was summoned to the scene at 12:02 a.m., where Urzua was pronounced dead.
