On December 9, 2010, 18-year-old Calin Hunter was shot and killed in the Bernal Heights neighborhood of San Francisco. The shooting occurred around 8:30 PM on the 500 block of Alemany Boulevard. When authorities arrived, no arrests were made, and the motive behind the killing was still under investigation. This tragic incident was one of several violent events that occurred in San Francisco around that time, contributing to concerns about rising crime in the area.
