Zamarkus Kentrell Brister, a 22-year-old male was fatally shot on November 26, 2025, after an altercation inside Reagans Corner Convenience Store in the Kokomo community of Marion County, Mississippi. According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the store, located at 640 U.S. Highway 98, around 1 p.m. after reports of gunfire inside the business.
