Robert Brent Jr., 22, a Black male, was found fatally shot inside a vacant apartment on North Jackson Street in Crystal Springs, Mississippi, on the evening of October 27, 2025. First responders and the Copiah County coroner confirmed he died at the scene. Local reporting placed the discovery around 6 p.m., and early statements from authorities did not immediately identify a motive. An obituary published by a Crystal Springs funeral home later confirmed his full name and date of death.
