Jonathan Grumble, a 23-year-old from Buffalo, New York, was found dead in a vacant lot at Quincy and Ashley Streets on May 20, 2017. He had been kidnapped and shot, with two men, Tevin McCutcheon and Matthew Schunk, later being arrested in connection with the crime. McCutcheon was convicted of second-degree murder after an eight-day trial in 2019 and was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
