Luke Alvarez, 35, a Hispanic male from South Valley, New Mexico, was shot late Monday morning on October 13, 2025, near Bridge Boulevard and La Vega SW in southwest Albuquerque. Deputies arrived to find him with at least one gunshot wound; he was rushed to the University of New Mexico Hospital in critical condition and later died of his injuries.
