Armando Lara, 32, a Latino male, was gunned down on a Hawthorne street on October 17, 2025. He was found near the intersection of West 118th Street and Prairie Avenue in the mid-afternoon, and first responders could not save him. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner identified Lara and ruled the death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound to the chest.
